Tiny Tears 50 Year Anniversary Doll

We were recently sent the new limited edition doll from Tiny Tears to celebrate 50 years since the launch of first iconic Tiny Tears doll.

These beautiful dolls have been loved by children for generations in fact I used to have one of my own, the girls loved talking about me being a little girl and playing dollies like they do.

The limited edition Tiny Tears doll is beautiful as you can see I love the pretty pink sparkly dress.

Just like the traditional doll you can feed her water from her bottle and then put her on the potty to wet, sit her up and she cry real tears.
One thing we have found tricky is the bottle is a little too big for her mouth, as though her top lip is a little in the way so you have to really push the bottle in or you will get a little drenched. The girls find it a little difficult to get it in far enough but they are quite happy playing with her without the water.

She also comes with a potty and a commemorative certificate which is very sweet.

So what did we think of Tiny Tears? The girls love her – Maisy has been loving playing with her curls giving her new ‘hair styles’ while Lottie loved pretending to feed her and pushing her around in our little pram. I was a little disappointed with the water issue, at first it was frustrating for the kids but now they are just happy to play with her without feeding her real water.

With an RRP of £29.99 I think thats a really decent price I have paid double that for dolls in the past. The tiny tears 50th anniversary doll is available from John Adams.

Happy birthday Tiny Tears!

Wow that really is a good price, I was expecting it to be double that! Girls all love a doll don’t they? Playing mum and pretending to be all grown up. Such a sweet post xx

I used to have a Tiny Tears doll when I was little! I loved her so much!! I bet my kids would like to play with one…though now I’m the mummy I’m not sure about the water part…I can imagine two very wet children and a very wet house!!
