I recently spent the most gorgeous Christmassy evening there, and it truly exceeded every expectation – from the drinks to the décor to the atmosphere. At seven months pregnant, it felt wonderful to dress up, enjoy a seasonal night out and make the most of the festive magic.

Before heading out, I slipped into the perfect maternity festive dress from New Look. It’s comfortable, flattering over the bump, and just enough to feel Christmassy without being over the top. Honestly, finding stylish maternity occasionwear can be a challenge, but this dress is a gem – and ideal for dinners or festive parties.
Cocktail Making (or a Mocktail Version for Me!)
Our evening began with a fun cocktail-making session. While everyone created the classic Christmas Colada, I made a mocktail version and it was every bit as delicious and beautifully presented. The Ivy is known for its gorgeous seasonal drinks, and this one is no exception. Think creamy, festive, and incredibly cute… the kind of drink that deserves its own Instagram moment.

We then headed into one of their elegant private dining rooms for the Christmas Set Menu at The Ivy Bournemouth.

Every course was absolutely delicious, but the highlight was definitely The Ivy Santa – a dessert that’s as adorable as it is tasty. It was the perfect sweet ending to a festive meal.
