Family Game Night With 5 Second Rule |Competition|

The girls and I love a good games night. An evening with no screens, no youtube. Just us, a big bowl of popcorn and a good game. We were recently sent the game ‘5 Second Rule‘ which called for an immediate family game night. 5 Second Rule is aimed at those 8+ but although Bella and Lottie are only 7 & 5 we still had great fun, they did require a little help but I would say if you work in teams little ones will also have great fun with this board game too. Crealy Adventure Park

Yet another busy weekend has been and gone for us and I once again spent the last two days up to my eye balls in washing trying to discover where the missing hair brushes are! Yes we went away for two nights and all order in my household fell apart immediately. It was so worth it though. Our weekend away in Devon started on an adrenaline filled high at Crealy Adventure Park. We all had a fab afternoon going from ride to ride. I have always been a little bit rubbish at being the ‘let’s go walking in the rain and embrace the frost’ kind of mum. I prefer to enjoy a hot chocolate buried under a blanket or 5. However with three children that are full of endless amounts of energy this isn’t possible. They need to get out, they need to run off some energy and explore their surroundings…

A Little Stay At The Christchurch Harbour Hotel

Last week I swept my boy off to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel as a little birthday treat! A completely selfless act as of corse spending the day in a spa doesn’t appeal to me at all (cough cough). As much as I was sweeping him off I was so excited to have a little break myself. Off we set for Christchurch; It’s only a 40 minute drive for us so we arrived pretty early. Our room wasn’t quite ready to check into but I had assumed this would be the case so we headed into the Upper Deck restaurant for a…
