When it comes to christmas, shopping can be an exhausting thing. The kids seem to want just about everything. Something I find really important each year when christmas shopping is finding the best deals and try to spend a little less. My girls are Disney mad at the moment so what obvious place to look for me has been the Disney store with such a large collections available but it can get pricey, which is why I was thrilled to see the Disney Store promo vouchers available at Dealslands giving me amazing deals everytime but having the ease of it all being in one place.
It got me thinking of other ways I can pinch the pennies this year and get the best possible deals this christmas.
Do your research
Decide which products you are after – make a list, read some reviews (very important you don’t want to waste your money. Then get online and do some research see when the big toy stores have there sales. If it’s one must have toys of the year get in there early you don’t want to send up paying over the odds in December because they’re all sold out.
Avoid paying for shipping
If your buying online make the most of the in store delivery options where possible. You can often find various codes for free delivery/10% saving so why not get it delivered to store and then use the code for discount as well!
Late night shopping
A lot of sales start online at midnight – avoid the rush get in their early. I’ll never forget the struggle I had last year on a well known shops website, it was just so busy I couldn’t get online all day.
I am always so jealous of those people who have finished their shopping by September, they miss all the crazy busy shopping trips in December – I’ll be honest and say I don’t think this will ever be me I hate having to store things for months on end but if you don’t mind that then go for it!
Last minute sales
Are you brave enough to leave some shopping to christmas eve? The sales start in the week leading up to christmas last year I saved unto 70% through just being plain unorganised.
So there are my tips on how to get the best deals this year and make a magical christmas just a little easier on the on the pocket – I hope it’s given you some ideas and don’t forget to check out Deals Lands UK for some great discount codes.
