Maisy (4 years 9 months)
This month has been huge for my biggest princess – she has started school! She has done so well at settling in I love her little face each day when she comes running out to me, I miss her so so much it feels like I barley see her during the week but we make up for it on the weekends.
Each day she finishes school and tells me all about her school dinners which after a slight wobble at first she is now loving. It’s great to hear about her trying out so many new foods she has always been the fussiest of the girls so it’s been so encouraging.
We now have a little reading folder that comes home in her book bag and I can already see progression in her reading, she’s recognising letters and sounding them out with me.
But with all this fun at school Maisy has been seriously exhausted by the time we reach thursday/friday you really don’t want to make her cross by say giving her the wrong plate at dinner. #megameltdowns.
Bella (3 years 8 months)
I mentioned in last months update about Bella being more confident with Maisy at nursery with her and I hope she did’t go back to her shy ways, I am pleased to report she has stayed her same little chatty self at nursery. They are all really pleased with how her social skills are coming on so that’s great, she was also invited to her first little friend from nursery’s party and it was so nice for me to see her playing with her friends.
Still mad on spider man and now has spiderman pjs and wellies that she adores.
Bella is always a busy little bee she is busy making up games or role playing with her sisters or toys it’s so funny to watch her wild imagination come up with new things.
She’s always been so independent when it comes to getting dressed or doing things for herself but is even more so recently, she often puts her self in charge of fetching the snacks for her and her sisters. Usually this involves her sneaking in the kitchen without my knowledge but that is just my mischievous little Bella all over.
Lottie (19 months)
We have new teeth at long last after countless unsettled nights and lots of biting on people we have two more teeth (molars ouch) my poor baby does really suffer with her teeth I always feel so sorry for her.
Lots of chatting this month I feel like she’s picking up new words daily, she’s starting to put together small sentences as well now like ‘don’t want it’ usually when I am trying to get some dinner in her.
She’s also understanding so much more she can point to all her body parts which is super cute.
Lottie has decided she no longer likes to wear a nappy and takes it off when ever possible thinking she’s hilarious – I am thinking about moving on to pull ups just so she can’t undo the tabs – no way I am wanting to potty train just yet she’s too young for that.
Her favourite game to play is currently stand on unstable surfaces to freak mummy out, this include rocking horses and the arm of the sofa – she thinks it’s one big joke seeing me flap about when she does it.
She has also learnt how to get up and down the stairs safely without any help I am always with her just in case but she’s perfectly capable as she reminds me if I dare to try and hold her.
