Just when I thought summer was over and done with, it seems to have returned this weekend and we have had two beautiful sunny days.
I was determined to make the most of them after the rubbish summer we have had this year – and living in Dorset where else would you want to spend a sunny weekend than at the beach.
Saturday the girls and I headed down to Sandbanks for some scooter riding, sand castle making and chips!
It is hard to believe that next week it will be October with the sun shining like this.
Maisy and Bella are pro’s on their scooters now I thought it would be a good time to start getting Lottie out on hers. This OXELO B1 scooter is pefect for little ones learning to balance on a scooter. It was so easy to put together and I love the bright yellow colour, the handle bar drops down really low which I loved about it as it makes it just the right size for Lottie.
The scooter is aimed at age 2-4 so Lottie being 18 months was giving it a good go, she got bored of trying to keep up with her sisters in the end and opted for using it as a seat and letting me push her around on it, but she will get there and I am sure in the next few months she’ll be zooming off with them as well!
Sunday was a beach day again we headed down to flaghead chine for more castle building, cake eating and the girls got to spend some time with my family although Lottie clung to me most of the day as she is going through a bit of a clingy phase.
I left my phone in the car so didn’t get any snaps all day, but once again it was a lovely day bit windy but still beautiful.
I am sure summer will really be over soon and the wintery weather will really set in but I am sure this won’t be our last trip to the beach of the year. We will be wrapping our selfs up and chucking the wellies on if we have to. I have been looking to kit us all out in regatta with some great all weather gear for this winter so we aren’t so restricted as we were last year, I’m really loving the all in ones they have for the kids – perfect for Lottie so she can join in the puddle jumping and splashing with her sisters.

I love days on the beach at the end of the summer season. Sandbanks is lovely. I wish we had more sand in Hampshire! #mycapturedmoment
