The Summer Holidays Are Near

This morning I did our last frantic Monday morning school run for 7 weeks! Maisy’s school is breaking up a little early this year giving us slightly longer at home together and I have to say I can’t wait – 7 weeks sounds like a lot of time to fill but we have so so much going on in the coming weeks I am just so excited! Enjoying the last of the summer sun

Just when I thought summer was over and done with, it seems to have returned this weekend and we have had two beautiful sunny days. I was determined to make the most of them after the rubbish summer we have had this year – and living in Dorset where else would you want to spend a sunny weekend than at the beach. My girls do enjoy an ice lolly come rain or shine it doesn’t matter to them, we always have a stash in the freeze.
