Ultimate English is a confectionary business from the UK that produce high quality treats in a traditionally English way and have been doing so for over 150 years so these guys certainly know their fudge from their toffee. When they recently got in touch to see if I’d like to try some of their range I didn’t have to think twice, I have a serious sweet tooth and the promise of some delicious fudge was never going to be turned down. 
When this little lot turned up I thought it would be really fun to get the girls involved with a little taste test and see which flavours they liked the best. My children hadn’t tried fudge up until now – how is that even possible fudge is amazing!
So once I set it all up into fancy little bowls we got tasting we had:
All butter fudge – this got a massive thumbs up seriously buttery and just everything you would want from a piece of fudge, or a packet if you’re anything like me and cannot be stopped.
Crystallised ginger fudge – that little hint of ginger is just amazing perfect little treat for the winter months.
Salt water chocolate truffle fudge– tastes even better than it sounds, creamy chocolatey rich a little sickly after a few bits but it is incredible.
Lemon coconut & original coconut ice– I am really not a big fan of coconut I never have been as much as I love chocolate, offer me a bounty and I just can’t eat it so I was a little scared to try these but for the sake of research I did have a couple. I am not a reformed coconut lover but these weren’t overly coconuty the lemon one’s actually delicious and Lottie really loved them.
So when it came down to choosing our winner it was close, in the end I let the girls decide and they went for the salt water chocolate truffle fudge – good choice girls.
