My Girls: November

Maisy (4 years 11 months) Maisy had her first school disco this month, which was really exciting for her and it seems like a big milestone for me as I had to drop her off and leave her – I wasn’t quite sure how she would be but she had a great time and had a huge smile when I picked her up. Most days Maisy spends telling me all about how her birthday party is going to go and what she would like to receive as gifts from all her friends – she’s so excited I can’t wait for…

It’s nearly half term..

Next week will be half term (mini celebratory dance). This term has been our toughest yet. Maisy started reception in September and I have never seen a little person more in need of a holiday. I mean you think you know tired when you have a newborn but I really feel for this little girl of mine she’s absolutely exhausted. Bed time is some nights an hour earlier than usual – mind you I’m not complaining my longer evenings are a god send when trying to keep on top of work but she really needs this week off just to…

My Girls – September

Another month gone by and this one has absolutely flown, it’s been a huge month for my biggest girl!  Maisy (4 years 9 months) This month has been huge for my biggest princess – she has started school! She has done so well at settling in I love her little face each day when she comes running out to me, I miss her so so much it feels like I barley see her during the week but we make up for it on the weekends. Each day she finishes school and tells me all about her school dinners which after a…

My Girls – August

Maisy (4 years 8 months) August has been the last month with my biggest girl at home during the day, this time next week she will be in the full swing of reception life! She is so ready for school and has missed her friends massively over the last  6 weeks. Some days has been a little bit of a handful but I will miss her a lot when she is in for the full day. I bought Maisy a guitar online a few weeks ago, a ukulele turned up but she didn’t mind. I been listening to the lovely sounds of Maisy’s…

My Girls – June

Maisy (4 years 6 months)  Maisy seems to be getting more and more grown up each day, she has well and truly lost that little toddler look about her and is blossoming into a beautiful clever little girl. This month I went to Maisy’s big school to meet her new teacher for reception this September. I was actually thrilled with who she got as Maisy is friends with her daughter but it has now hit me that she will be going to school – she’s already at the nursery but this is it big girl school no more spur of…
