So Sand DIY Review & Giveaway

Finding things to entertain the girls on these long days during lockdown is tough!

We have a mixture of home schooling, me working from home and now the restrictions have started to lift we are getting more days out but it’s still lots of long summer days to fill.

Working from home does restrict things quite a bit, I need to be available for calls throughout the working day. Which means I need a little bit of quiet  to concentrate. The girls are really good and understand but when I’ve been on back to back calls all morning they can get a little restless.

Having a few things up my sleeve that they can get on with quietly is always a win. Last week we received the So Sand DIY kit and it was just what we needed to keep them happily entertained.

So Sand DIY allows you to design their very own magic sand for you to then enjoy moulding, mixing and cutting. It takes magic sand from being a preschooler activity to one that older children will love to!

We had the So Sand DIY – Tool Case which RRP’s at £19.99.
The kit contains:

  • 1 Sensory Case
  • 3 Sand Bags
  • 3 Bags of coloured sand
  • Tools
  • Decoration Bags

Everything you need to create, craft and store your DIY magic sand is included.

The girls couldn’t wait to get started. It is all relatively mess free as well which of corse is a huge bonus for me!

You simply combine the colour with the white sand kneading until you have a bright vibrant colour. and then it is time to play! The tools allow you to create all sorts of different swirls and patterns. One great thing is that the colours don’t mix together in the same way you would get with play dough or something. They stay in cool patterns rather than turning into a mound of brown – amazing!

We have loved playing with our SO Sand, the handy tool case means it is all stored away neatly ready for the next time they want to play.

And now it’s your chance to win! I have a So Sand DIY – Satisfying Sand Ball Case up for grabs.

To be in with the chance of winning enter below. UK entries only, the competition will end at midnight on 10/07/2020. Good luck!
