A little while ago I announced we are ambassadors for Weymouth Sealife adventure park, having been in the past and it being just a short drive from us I jumped at the chance – the girls just love visiting all the fish and penguins!
There is so much more to the park than seeing some fish, on a trip the other week we took full advantage of the sunny weather and the girls had a ton of fun splashing and playing in the splash zone. It’s a great little spot to stop off for a picnic too with lots of picnic benches around – beware you will probably get wet though!
One of the kids favourite things to do when we visit is collect the stamps in their booklets for each of the creatures we get round to seeing. It is a great way to keep them interested and wanting to keep going, my girls suffer with tired legs after approximately 30 seconds of walking but having the books to stamp gets them around the whole park with minimal complaint the booklets are given to the kids on entry at no extra cost.
I love the penguins we could sit and watch them all day they are so funny, this one was being a right little show off.
We found Nemo.. and then his friends.
As I said there is a lot more to do than just look at fish, Bella loves going on the rides in adventure island, at 4 she’s big enough to ride a few by her self and would quite happily of kept going round in this one all day!
As you go round their’s a ton of interactive activities for the kids including things to look through, touch and explore, see Bella above searing for crabs in the rock pools. It’s great that there is so much to keep them involved, young children love to learn through play and exploring so it really does help make a great day out for them.
We love the Sealife Adventure Park and I am sure we will be making the most of our passes this summer and sharing our days out as we go!
