Bella Turns 5!

My baby Bella you are 5 years old today!  This time 5 years ago I was probably trying to negotiate ‘just a little bit’ more pethidine out of the midwives – Saying ‘please I wont tell anyone’ does not work just FYI.  It was all so worth it. Handwriting With Stabilo

My daughters love to write. As soon as Maisy started school and was coming home telling us all about her hand writing all of them started taking a keen interest. Now Bella has also started school it has only escalated. They will all sit to the table drawing pictures and writing the stories to go with them. Lottie’s understandable is marks but she knows what she wants to write as she reads it all back to me after. There is something so nice about actually putting pen to paper yet it seems to be dying out. I myself am guilty…

Wintery Beach Walks

Once again I find myself miserable with a cold. I hadn’t’ been able to shake the last one from back in December, so to find myself feeling crappy again really isn’t the best. Being ill with children means you don’t really have the time to be ill at all. You dose up, you suck it up and you carry on with your day. Thursday’s are always Mummy and Lottie day’s. She has no nursery, I don’t work that day at all if can be helped, so we head off to do something fun together. Cold or no cold it was…

Little Chickie Dinner Set Giveaway

Lottie has turned into a little fuss pot when it comes to dinner time. She is too busy messing about making her sisters laugh and not actually getting any food in her mouth. I always enjoyed dinner time with the girls, we sit together, enjoying the meal I had cooked and have a chat but Lottie’s sudden rebellion has been making it tough. I decided to take some action to try and get our meal times back to normal by giving Lottie a little incentive to sit and eat nicely with us. Rather than the usual you wont get any…

National Trust Adventures – Corfe Castle

This weekend we pulled on our welly boots and headed over to Corfe Castle for our next National Trust adventure we needed to burn off some of that never ending energy my girls seem to have and Corfe Castle won their vote. I used to visit Corfe every year as a little girl, my grandparents always rented a cottage for a few weeks and it was lovely but I hadn’t been back for years and had yet to take the girls. From the car park there is a 10 minute walk to get up the the castle itself it’s a nice little…
