Family Travel
Reviews and tips for Family travel as a large family.
The summer holidays felt so long for me, and not because I couldn’t wait for the kids to start school but because I feel like I was missing out on so much time with them whilst I was still working – I felt so guilty! Now they’re back in school and we have our weekends back to normal to spend together and have some fun little adventures. Last week we decided to get up early and go on over to the Isle of Wight for the day. Being just off the south coast the Isle of Wight isn’t all that…

Camp Bestival is without a doubt one of the girls and I’s favourite events every single year. We have been going the last three years now and it just gets better and better. Rather than sharing a typical what we got up to post for 2018 (which I am sure I will do anyway) I thought I’d change it up and share with you my 15 reasons to visit Camp Bestival. It’s the most friendly atmosphere you’ll come across. No-one ever looks unhappy at Camp Bestival it’s just none stop fun. Lulworth castle is the most gorgeous setting. I live in Dorset…

On Wednesday the girls and I were invited into Bournemouth to enjoy some fun with the Oddbods! Despite living just half an hour down the road in Poole the girls and I rarely venture into Bournemouth as a family so it made a nice change! With the sun shinning we set off early with a fun filled day ahead. We were greeted at the Oddbods coach with tons of balloons which the girls loved! Theres nothing quite as interesting as being by the coast with balloons and chasing them up and down the pier as they escape. For those of…

Mine two if I am honest who doesn’t love watching a little penguin waddle about! The main purpose of the visit was to pop along and see the new fairy penguins that have been relocated to Weymouth from Australia! Fairy penguins are the world’s smallest penguin measuring just over…

Last week I was very lucky to be invited on board the Norwegian Bliss for her inaugural sail from Germany to Southampton. Now I have been on the odd cruise ship for lunch or a little tour but I have never properly stayed on a cruise ship so it was all super new and exciting for me. We left early Thursday morning and flew over to Germany to board this brand spanking new ship. I was blown away 20 decks of pure luxury just waiting to be explored! In this post I am going to share with you a little peek at…

With another royal wedding on the horizon Windsor is set to be one of the top tourist spots in the U.K. this year. The girls and I were lucky enough to be invited on a day out to discover all that Windsor has to offer with The Original Tour. The U.K. is home to some truly amazing locations and I certainly haven’t seen enough so I jumped at the chance to explore this historic city. We left early and drove in, Windsor is one of those places that’s a little awkward to get to on the train you’d find yourself going…
