On Wednesday the girls and I were invited into Bournemouth to enjoy some fun with the Oddbods! Despite living just half an hour down the road in Poole the girls and I rarely venture into Bournemouth as a family so it made a nice change! With the sun shinning we set off early with a fun filled day ahead.
We were greeted at the Oddbods coach with tons of balloons which the girls loved! Theres nothing quite as interesting as being by the coast with balloons and chasing them up and down the pier as they escape.
For those of you who may not be familiar with Oddbods it’s a children’s TV show aimed at 3-7 year olds. We jumped on board the Oddbods National Express coach to see what is was all about. We downloaded the Vuer app which is a real game changer when traveling by coach. It gives you a ton of content when you travel with National Express including over 200 minutes of Oddbods which is sure to keep your little ones entertained.
The girls really enjoyed it, not only because they got to watch Oddbods but because I drive everywhere they really love going on public transport its a huge novelty to them.
After our coach trip we hopped off for some fun. Crazy golf in the gardens and a ride on the big wheel had been arranged for us – it was great!
The girls mixed with crazy golf is a very interesting combination. Lottie looked as though she was trying to sweep the floor and Bella kept calling her club her racket and swinging it as though it was one as well. By hole 18 they had started to get the hang of it, they found it fun which is the main thing!
Views from the big wheel!
We then headed into the Key West Cafe to enjoy a bit of lunch and some arts and crafts. The girls personalised pencil cases, made head bands and decorated gift bags. The best way to keep my girls happy is with some crafts so they loved getting stuck into this.
All in all it was a fantastic day out, I left with three very happy (very tired) little girls.
