I am a self confessed chocoholic. I love the stuff whether it’s morning noon or night to me it is always a good time for chocolate.
So when I was invited to attend a chocolate buffet at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth recently it was a no brainer. A chocolate buffet is my idea of heaven and I couldn’t think of anywhere I would rather be on a Sunday afternoon.
The Cottonwood Boutique Hotel hold this special chocolate buffet once a month and it is definitely worth a visit if you are as big of a chocolate fan as I am. We arrived at 1pm on the dot, with an hour and a half of all you can eat chocolate time it is best to be on time.
I absolutely adore the out there and dramatic decor of the hotel. The bright pink and rich pops of gold make it so fun!
It’s one of those you couldn’t just have in your sitting room but it looks amazing.
On to the chocolate buffet…
With a white and milk chocolate fountains at either end of the main table you are instantly taken to chocolate paradise. With fresh waffles and pancakes being made for you and tons of different fruits, cakes and treats laid out for you to top and dip it is so easy to get carried away.
I found my eyes were far to big for my belly and after one waffle and one pancake I was drifting into a chocolate infused day dreamy state (a throughly enjoyable state to be in mind you).
We had a fantastic time; it’s quite an intimate little buffet. I was worried it would be over crowded and a fight for the fountains would break out but I think they managed the seating and numbers really well, it just felt really relaxing.
The Chocolate Buffet at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel is definitely the place to be for all the chocolate lovers, I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun afternoon or as a lovely treat on a special occasion.
A huge thank you to the team for having us, we really had a great time. To find out more and see when the next chocolate buffet is on check out the website thecottonwoodboutiquehotel.co.uk.
Oh wow. Just wow. This is heaven, absolute heaven. I’ve been trying to eat healthy foods for a while now, but a break once a month is totally fine – right?! 🙂

This is so cool! I never heard of a chocolate buffet before but I would definitely love to attend one. The chocolate fountains look amazing and I love that you have little treats to add to your fruits as well, like the mini marshmallows.
