Biscuit making with Bake Box

As an ambassador for Bake Box every couple of months I am sent out on of their lovely boxes of baking treats and left to give it all a go.

Each month the box has a different theme and contains 6-8 items of bakeware and 6 recipe cards. This months theme was a teddy bears picnic and here’s what we got!

I love the silicon teddy bear cake mould how cool does this look!? I am definitely going to try and make a cake for the girls with this one, I think it’ll be a nice little treat to have a teddy bears picnic at home before they go back to school in a couple of weeks.

This week however the girls lent a hand and we had a go at the woodland biscuits. We followed the recipe step by step, the recipe cards themselves are fab really easy to follow and I hate following recipes but we stuck with this one and created some really call toad stool biscuits!

So okay they’re not perfect but the girls and I were so proud of them! They were really fun to make and they do look like toadstools.. in my opinion anyway. They are also super yummy with a cuppa.
