Baby Paints With Yogurt!

Baby Paints With Yogurt!

Lottie is 11 months now and in recent months I have noticed she is becoming more and more interested in the things her sisters are up to as well, we often mess about with arts and crafts and I like to get them involved with cooking or preparing food but its just not something Lottie is old enough to do – cue lots of shouting on her part and me feeling very guilty whilst trying to share my attention between the three of them!

So I have been looking for ways to get Lottie involved so thats still safe for her even if she starts putting things in her mouth and we started yesterday with some painting!

I used greek yogurt and added a few drops of food colouring to get some different colours – simple as that and she was away!

She absolutely loved it I gave her a couple of paint brushes and she knew what to do right away from watching her sisters but also got stuck in with her hands!

Of corse she ended up trying a little bit and this was the result…

Not keen!!

Not everyone shares my love for greek yogurt, I’m so glad we tried this it was really successful and the only mess made was easily wiped up and now she has a fun activity to get stuck into when ever I’m doing crafts with the older two!

This is such a great idea Amy! I’m terrible at crafty stuff but I think even I could manage this. Mine would probably just sit and eat rather than paint though 🙂 xx

This is cute, I might try this with Bear as I’m struggling to think of things to do with her at home given how cold it is outside at the mo!

Lovely idea; I recently shared pictures of my little one ‘painting’ with his hand in yogurt on my instagram. Ours wasn’t planned but it was such fun. I wonder if she painted on paper or another material. #aNoviceMumCommentLuv
