Halloween Activities For Toddlers

Halloween is just around the corner and as alway the kids have been up to all sorts of fun activities to get them them in the spooky spirit. These are my 5 fun Halloween activities for toddlers. Halloween Cakes I picked up some orange flavour frosting in asda the other day and a bunch of halloween decorations the kids loved making these spidery cone cakes. Having a cupcake in a cone makes it so much easier for little hands to handle, they get a lot less sticky.  We also made these little fairy cakes using a white chocolate button and…

Simple Autumn Craft

We’ve really been enjoying the autumn so far this year the kids have been loving collecting conkers and leaves and spending lots of time outside. I have been looking for some nice toddler friendly craft ideas that will let us use some of the leaves we have collected, so of course i took to Pintrest and created and Autumn board for some inspiration! With the girls still being quite young and having the worlds shortest attention span i need something thats quite quick and simple for them, and me – the least crafty person in the world! Heres what we came up with; …

Early risers

Picture the scene, I’m tucked up nice an cosy, still snoozing- usually have a two year old in the bed who has kicked her dad out into hers and a baby the other side, as you can already imagine I’ve had a fantastic restful nights sleep.  And then it happens.. The clock strikes 5:30 I hear movement and wish silently if I stay very very still it might go back to sleep.  But no so in walks a 3 year old who has swapped her pjs for a pink swimming costume, tiara on head and wand in hand. First day nerves

Today Maisy started her ‘big girls nursery’ as she likes to call it. We’ve been waiting for the day for months ever since she got her letter offering her a place I’ve been so excited. It seemed like the next obvious step going from a couple sessions a week at a private nursery to the ‘big’ nursery as the school which she now will be attending every single morning and wearing her super cute looking school uniform.  In her uniform We spent a lovely afternoon a few weeks ago trolling round the shops together choosing it all it was such…

This was the first day in what feels like forever that I’ve had nothing planned an no where to be so I asked the kids what do you want to play ‘camping’ we usually just make little sleeping bags up on the floor when we play this but today we went one step further and…

My Three Girls

Maisy – Bella – Lottie Have you ever seen 3 children look more a like? Even I’m taken by surprise when I put three pictures together and compare they really could be the same child, thankfully I recognise who’s who mainly by the outfit or surroundings. These 3 pictures were all taken when the girls were roughly 3/4 months and that is the age there little personalities start to show through and I tell you three little girls that look so similar couldn’t be more different. Maisy If I had only one word to describe Maisy it would be Diva, she is the most…
