What’s in our Christmas Eve Box?

Since the girls were born Christmas has become one of my most favourite times of the year! I was never overly big on it until they came along and now my joy comes totally from seeing their excitement leading up to the big day! As I type it’s 10am Bella is spinning around the lounge still in her pj’s (as  you should be in the holidays) singing carols and she just fell into the tree – tree is now slightly ruined but it gave us all a bloody good laugh. Tomorrow is Christmas eve and I am sure excitement levels will be…

Longleat Festival Of Lights

The girls and I headed off to visit Longleat last week to experience the Festival of Lights for the first time! I had heard such great things about the event which runs throughout December we couldn’t wait to get down there. We’ve been to Longleat once before, it was when they were in the process of setting it all up since seeing that I have always been intrigued to go back and see it finished. I knew it was going to be pretty busy as tickets were sold out for the day, it was advised to leave extra time for…

Christmas 2015

I have been pretty quiet on the blogging and social media front this last couple of weeks and with good reason. Since I started writing Everything Mummy about 18 months ago I haven’t really taken a break, every day I have done something every single day and while I love it the past year has been pretty full on. With christmas I thought it would be the perfect time to have a little breather, spend some quality time with friends, family and most importantly my three little princesses. Whilst I am still in holiday mode I thought I’d just post…

5 Under £5 – Stocking Fillers For Girls

Christmas is coming!! I have been concentrating on getting Maisy’s birthday out of the way it has dawned on me I am not at all prepared for the mayhem of christmas. Bath bombs – I adore lush not only for myself but with all natural products they are perfect for the girls to use in the bath. They get so excited to have a lush…

Fisher Price Charisma Trike Review

A few weeks ago we were asked if Lottie would like to take the Fisher Price Charisma Trike for a spin and share our thoughts on it with my readers. With Lottie getting to that age where she doesn’t like the pushchair very much anymore I thought it would be a great alternative for her so I was super excited to get it up and running when it arrived. The trike was quite easy to assemble – I must admit I hate making these sorts of things and the instructions could of done with some writing to make it a little easier…

Christmas Crafts With Baker Ross

We have been getting crafty with Baker Ross again and this time it has been a very christmassy themed box. I don’t tend to get into the christmas spirit until after Maisy’s birthday (9th December) but getting these crafts out have been so much fun and gotten me really looking forward to the big day. Here’s what we’ve been making. Snowman mosaic coasters These are great for children of all ages – even Lottie had ago at making one, it’s really good for developing their fine motor skills, along with shape and colour recognition. Penguin gift bag kits Really fun to…

Getting your home ready for christmas

With the count down to Christmas well and truly on I have been thinking about decorations this year and I am not talking about the tree, I want to add a touch of christmas magic to the whole living room with some cute cosy additions over the next couple of weeks. I have never been one to do this in previous years but the girls are all really aware of what’s actually going on this year and so I am more excited for Christmas than ever before. I’ve been doing a little – okay a lot – of online browsing…
