A couple of weeks ago I was invited along with a few other bloggers and journalists to visit West Compton Manor for an evening of solving murder mysteries with the Far Out Theatre. I have to be honest before hand I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into, I have never done a murder mystery night and all I could think of was Professor Plum in the study with a revolver. Never the less I thought it would be a giggle so off I went. West Compton Manor was easy enough to find, set in the Dorchester countryside you do…

A couple weeks back me and the girls were invited along to the launch of the brand new Explorer Glamping accommodation that is now available at Chessington world of adventures. This was the first time I would ever be taking the girls on a camping trip, I was bit nervous I am not much of a natural camper shall we say – more of a hotel kind of girl! However I thought it would be a fun little adventure for us and we love those so we went for it. We headed up straight from school and arrived just after…

Over the weekend Caro, Sarah and I headed up to London for an event with Mumsnet, seen as it would take us each a couple of hours to travel in we thought why not make the most of it and stay overnight. After a little browse online we settled on the M by Montcalm drawn in instantly by the luxuriousness of the rooms, the thought of loosing a couple of hours in the spa and the fab location; in the heart of Shorditch surrounded by lots of amazing bars and restaurants. The building it self is just stunning as I…

As you may have spotted on social media a couple of weeks ago the girls and I headed off to Bluestone, Wales for a few days with Alice and Amelia! What was a rather spontaneous last minute trip turned out to be so much fun and I wanted to share a few snaps of what we all got up to as I of corse took about a thousand photos and Everything Mummy does serve as my online scrap book for the girls to one day look back through. Hopefully they’ll enjoy and not be too embarrassed about any stories or…

So if you read part one of our Blue Chip Holiday’s break you’ll of seen just how stunning the lodge was and how amazingly spoilt we felt staying their. Calling it a lodge doesn’t really do it justice, if I am honest it was a little house really – full central heating the lot. Saturday morning arrived and Maisy, my little early riser thought 4:40am was the best time to get up. I disagreed but the excitement was too much for her so it was a very early start for us. Luckily we had the great selection of toys and…

Last weekend the girls and I were invited by Blue Chip Holidays to stay at the beautiful Furrow Fields Lodge in Bradford Abbas – Dorset. To say I was excited is a slight under statement I was massively in need of a little break and change of scenery, I took my friend Bianca along with us for an extra pair of hands with the girls. We arrived just before 5 after getting a little lost on the way turns out sat nav’s aren’t great! We called the number provided and a very helpful lady on the other end gave us…

Last Monday we set off for the beautiful Welsh country side to review the gorgeous Bluestone national park resort, it was a long ol’ drive for us with three young children its the one part of the trip I was not excited for but the girls were really good thank god! For some ideas on how to keep kids entertained on long journey’s you can read my mums essential’s guide to long care journeys here. Get ready for a very pic heavy post!
