Little Builder Stickle Bricks | Review

There is nothing I love more than seeing toys I recognise from my childhood in stores and introducing them to my own children, stickle bricks has been the most recent edition. My brother and I used to have a huge tub full of stickle bricks, which we’d pour out onto the floor and spend an entire afternoon building a whole city’s from it.

I recently received  the Stickle Brick Little Builder Set for Elsie and we’ve had so much fun playing with them. She got stuck straight in when they arrived and instantly knew exactly what to do with them, I think there must be some at nursery because she was such a pro.

Stickle Bricks combine a variety of different coloured and shaped bricks that children can then stick, stack and construct into what ever their little imagination allows. The little builder set is great for toddlers as they’re nice and chunky – perfect for those little hands.

When I asked Elsie what she would like to make hoping she’d say a car or a house, you know something relatively easy. She responded ‘glasses’, she’s been obsessed with glasses ever since Maisy started wearing them so we gave it a go! Here are Elsie’s special stickle brick glasses!

She’s so funny. We then moved on to making people the little faces were great, Elsie decided this one would be a baby and proceeded to feed her baby other stickle bricks!

It was great to take a trip down memory lane with Stickle Brick. It was also fantastic that all the kids could get involved, I do find it quite tough to find activities they all enjoy together with a larger age gap but building is always one they can all get involved in.

The Stickle Bricks Little Builder Set is available now at The Entertainer for £11.50. The set is suitable for those aged 18 months-8 years.
