COSMO World Kitchen – Review

As a large family of six deciding where we want to go out for dinner can be tough. All the girls have such different tastes so catering to them all isn’t an easy task at home let alone when we go out. Well so I thought, until we discovered the all you can eat world buffet – COSMO World Kitchen!

We were invited down to check out the restaurant and put the menu to the test. The challenge was on and we were well up for it.

COSMO restaurants offer an authentic tour of the world’s most loved dishes all under one roof. Whether it’s a taste of Asia you’re after or you have the craving for a carvery, at COSMO, you can find it all and enjoy unlimited courses for one set price!

Children eat for £10.50 and adults £20.99, which when you see just how many options you have is really reasonable. I often think with this kind of restaurant you expect to compromise on quality but I was blown away with just how good the food was. Now I can only speak for what I tried of course but it was absolutely delicious.

The decor was also lovely, really modern and spacious.

Lets talk food, as you arrive at the restaurant, you are shown to your seat and a drinks order is taken (drinks are not included in the set price). I got a little mocktail and then it was time to eat. I loved that there was no waiting just straight up to grab a plate and start trying all the delicious foods! Cuisines being served included; sushi, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Roast, Pizza, pasta even burgers there really was something for everyone.

The girls got stuck into the sushi for starters and then tucked into plates of Chinese, burgers, pizzas; they really had a good go at it all really! It was great to see them trying lots of different foods. When you’re paying per meal you tend to play it safe and encourage them to get something you know they’ll like – but what’s the fun in that!

I also started with some Sushi, and followed that up with curry. Two of my favourite food which you just can’t ever have together usually.

Elsie had the best evening, food on tap is just her idea of heaven so she was in her element, singing songs and just generally being her hilarious, crazy little self!

COSMO, Bournemouth is so child friendly! All the staff we so friendly chatting away to the kids and really helpful when I had a couple of questions around the dishes.

All in all we had a great time at COSMO and Bella has already declared we’re going back for her birthday. Which in January so she’s got in their well in advance. I think that was largely down to the giant chocolate fountain, frozen yogurt, sweets and popcorn. Not to mention the huge selection of cakes! A 10 year olds dream!

Thanks so much for having us COSMO, we can’t wait to come back!
