Creating An Inspiring Work Space With Posterlounge

Working from home requires you to be self motivated and focused. It can be really tough especially when it’s dull and miserable looking outside; finding a blanket to snuggle up under whilst scrolling through Instagram is so much more appealing. But there really is no other job I would rather do so I have been looking to update and inspire my work space to keep me focused.

Now I would love my own office at home, it is one of those house goals I hope to achieve in the next few years! For now I have my little work corner, which thus far has just been a little desk in the corner of our living space. It didn’t feel all that separate and the room just sort of flowed into one.

I wanted to add some colour, some life to the walls in a bid to make it feel more separate from the dining area. The easiest and cheapest way to do this is by adding some fun prints or pictures to the walls. When Posterlounge asked me to collaborate with them on updating a room in the house I couldn’t think of a better time to make the idea a reality.

I have gone from looking at a dull grey wall to having an array of gorgeous quotes printed on my wall. The posters are printed onto high quality glossy paper I quickly popped them into some simple white frames and I am so impressed with the final look!

It has been such an inexpensive way to update my work space and really bring it to life.
Prints from Poster Lounge

Posterlounge have a huge and fun selection of prints with lots of different styles and artists so you are bound to find a bunch that’ll work with your interior style and taste. As I was updating my work area I wanted to look up and feel inspired to write or get creative so these were the perfect choice for me. I like to keep things relatively neutral but adding the pop of mint green really brightened the place up.

As our downstairs is completely open planned its given my work space more structure without looking out of place.

Prints and posters are so popular right now and I can’t recommend Posterlounge enough for finding some real gems. They are so affordable and the website gives you tons of great ideas of how you to can easily update your walls.

I love that you can chose to have your print on a wide range of different materials as well; it gives you the chance to get really adventurous with textures and see the different effects you can achieve with aluminium or wood.

Sitting at my desk has been so much more exciting since these went up, it’s amazing how much your surroundings can effect your mood towards the task in hand!

A huge thank-you to Posterlounge for collaborating with me on this you can check out the website here

The prints look fab! I usually work with my laptop on my knee in front of the TV but I really should sort out a proper work space.

I did the same for so long, I find I work so much harder when I actually sit to a desk though x

It’s really appealing and I like the succulents you have there. Next project could be a more comfy chair, maybe an ergonomic one and make sure it the computer screen is in the proper eye level. Other than that, I’m also sold with this setup.
