My daughters love to write.
As soon as Maisy started school and was coming home telling us all about her hand writing all of them started taking a keen interest. Now Bella has also started school it has only escalated.
They will all sit to the table drawing pictures and writing the stories to go with them. Lottie’s understandable is marks but she knows what she wants to write as she reads it all back to me after.
There is something so nice about actually putting pen to paper yet it seems to be dying out. I myself am guilty of typing it up on the computer or jotting it in my phone, whereas as a child I would spend hours filling note pads with little stories. I want this love of writing to stay with my girls.

Yes there are some who still enjoy writing by hand. I tend to use handwriting for shopping list etc. Children are learning handwriting at school. My Mum and brother both had lovely handwriting, I think that was due to handwriting being an important skill when they both attended school. It led us as a family to ask them to write out cards for Birthdays etc for us. As the remainder of the family though we could write, our writing was more messy.
Good prize. Can encourage children to write. Whilst I wonder if some of the pens may be more useful and / or comfortable for individuals with arthritis, as we have a few adults in the family with arthritis.
Are these good for helping with handwriting do you think? Alfie has always struggled with handwriting due to weak muscles in his hands bless him. They look great! xxx

Lovely prize. You’re right about how this seems to be declining, though maybe that’s gone as far as it will, now. My handwriting is definitely not as good as it was due to fewer opportunities to practice it.

I love writing! & I love Stablio products. I think letter writing and even writing in cards is slowly in decline thanks to the internet. I try and write everyday even if it’s just a sentence in my journal 🙂 x

Perfect to help my son write more
I would write for hours as a kid and my love of the written word and of stationery has stayed with me all of my life. I still write letters to relatives, enclose letters with Christmas cards, send ‘thank you’ notes etc. I still try out any new pens and pencils as soon as I can after getting them. Fingers crossed.

I think it’s so important that children are encouraged to write at home and i always get my son to write thankyou letters even though he does moan!.Stabilo is always first rate for nice pens.
