Bike Riding At Hengistbury Head

Bike Riding At Hengistbury Head

We have been blessed with some absolutely gorgeous weather recently – hope it sticks around for half term!

With both our eldest’s busy at school Claire from The Witt Family and I took the girls off for a little bike ride and picnic last week at Hengistbury Head, a real beauty spot in Dorset made even more beautiful when the sun is shining.

As per usual I took a bunch of photos and want to share some of my faves!

Bella was spiderman’d up to the max as always. The girls loved it the trail from the car park to the beach is perfect for little legs, relatively flat the whole way  and just the right distance for them.

With the sun shining I was excited to wear the new little playsuit I picked up last week in new look, being by the sea it is quite breezy over Hengistbury Head but I have been desperate to wear some summery clothes so went for it anyways.

Bella and Violet led the way to the beach, by the time we got there they had well and truly worked up an appetite so we tucked into our picnics before exploring the beach and doing some rock climbing.

I really do love where we live so many beautiful beaches to explore.

The cycle back was a little tiring for the girls but with the promise of an ice-cream in the little cafe if they made it they soon sped off!

Hengistbury Head really is the perfect picnic spot so if you are looking for somewhere in Dorset for a little day out you need to go and have a look.
