An Out-of-This-World Family Day at the Natural History Museum

This weekend, we traded our usual park visit and screen time for a real adventure – one that took us from Earth’s deepest environments to the icy moons of Jupiter and beyond. Where did we go? To the incredible Natural History Museum in London to see their brand-new exhibition, Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth? — and let me tell you, it was out of this world. A Space Adventure for Curious Minds (Of All Ages!) The headline event of our day was the Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth? exhibition – a fascinating, interactive experience that takes visitors on…

A Magical Family Getaway at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

Our recent stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, this luxurious escape truly lives up to its reputation for both elegance and family-friendly hospitality. We stayed in a beautiful Garden Deluxe Room, where every moment—from our arrival through to check-out—was marked by warmth, care, and delightful surprises. A Warm (and Rainy) Welcome On arrival, the heavens had opened, and the rain was coming down hard. But as soon as we pulled up, the door staff sprang into action. We were immediately greeted, with our bags taken…

Hunting for the BRICKOSAURS at Marwell Zoo

The world exclusive LEGO® brick dinosaur event BRICKOSAURS! is currently at Marwell Zoo, the girls and I were invited down to check it out and we had the best day out we’ve had in a longggg time. I hadn’t been to Marwell Zoo since I was a child myself, it was a well over due visit and a first for my daughters. Marwell Zoo is situation in Hampshire which isn’t too far for us at all. It’s really well sign posted on the way down the M25 which is always a good help! We arrived early, the zoo wasn’t open until…

The Eden Project

One of our favourite family destinations for a UK break is Cornwall. I spent so many of my own childhood summers in Cornwall with my grandparents, so being able to take my daughters back to see some of my favourite spots is lovely. We recently spent a long weekend in St.Ives, a gorgeous quirky seaside town. We’ve been down to St.Ives a few times in the past so are familiar with the long drive. I don’t need to tell you 4 hours in the car with three kids is not much fun so we broke the drive up with a…

Exploring the Isle of Wight With Red Funnel Ferries

The summer holidays felt so long for me, and not because I couldn’t wait for the kids to start school but because I feel like I was missing out on so much time with them whilst I was still working – I felt so guilty! Now they’re back in school and we have our weekends back to normal to spend together and have some fun little adventures. Last week we decided to get up early and go on over to the Isle of Wight for the day. Being just off the south coast the Isle of Wight isn’t all that…

Limewood’s Herb House Spa

Oh how I do love a trip to a spa! The Limewood Hotel’s Herb House Spa is the perfect place to escape, unwind and reset; situated deep in the New Forest, the open planned scandi design leaves nature all around you and creates such a tranquil and calming environment. On visiting I opted for the Herb House Duo package which gives you use of the mud house, a 90 minute treatment with further use of your own private facilities and a delicious lunch which is served in their Raw & Cured restaurant. The facilities are fantastic, every element has been…

10 Family Days Out In Brighton

As the days become shorter and darker my mind can’t help but jump to next summer and making a mental bucket list of places to visit and things to see for my family and I. As much as I enjoy cosy evenings in with hot chocolate and lots of blankets I do live for the summer and getting out and about as much as possible. Making plans is what helps me through these dark and cold days. Next year I have a few UK destinations already on my ‘to visit’ list one of them being Brighton! It’s not too far from…
