Easter Crafts For Kids

So we are well into the half term and as much as I love having two weeks off with my little tribe, the weather seems determined to try and spoil our outdoor fun!

A fair few of our plans have been scrapped due to the grey and grim skies. I was at a complete loss of what we could do together this afternoon until I spotted a fun Easter art competition for the kids over on Ken Bromley Art Supplies!

Our afternoon was saved as we got stuck into our craft box and started to think about what we could make. For me craft doesn’t come all that naturally; I am not overly artistic but the girls really love it and I think arts and crafts are a really fun way to allow children so express themselves so I do try my best to be just as enthusiastic about it as they are.

We found some fun Bunny cut out shapes and began turning them into pretty Easter decorations.
All you’d need to create these yourself is some card and string of ribbon.

It was paint and glitter galore as you can imagine but I haven’t seen my girls this quiet and content yet this holidays. They love any activity that gets their creative juices flowing and they also love anything that involves mess!

Kitchen roll was my saviour here!

Glitter was a great way to make our decorations just that little bit more special. Although I may be hoovering it up for weeks to come now..

Their gorgeous little creations can now hang from our mini easter tree as we enjoy these easter celebrations for just that little bit longer.

Crafts needn’t be overly complicated for youngsters; I’ve always found glueing/sticking and painting the biggest hits in our household and they’re the items you most likely already have kicking around.

For some great arts and crafts inspiration check out the Ken Bromley Art Supplies Blog and make sure you submit your own Easter Crafts to their competition you could win an amazing art hamper worth £65 – I know my girls would be bouncing of the walls with excitement if they won this!
The competition ends midnight on the 15th April so get in there quick!
