Mother’s Day is nearly here! The one day a year specifically put aside to celebrate us mumma’s and all we do for the little people in our lives.
For me Mother’s Day isn’t about extravagant gifts or showering mums with praise for doing something that come naturally to us but it’s about sharing a day together and creating memories. I’ve always marked the occasion with a day out or a meal with my little ones so this year will be no different.
Coté Brasserie invited the girls and I down to try out the special Mother’s Day champagne brunch menu. We were all supposed to go down on Saturday but unfortunately the snow changed our plans so me and Lottie headed down Monday instead.
It was a shame not to be enjoying it with all my girls but me and Lottie enjoyed ourselves regardless.
The Mother’s Day champagne bunch menu is £15.95 per person and will be served at Coté on the 11th March to help people celebrate over some delicious food. You can choose brunch dishes from a full english to salmon and eggs; going for brunch is one of my favourite things ever you just can’t beat a good poached egg. Each person also gets a glass of champagne a juice and a hot drink.
The food served at Coté Brasserie is always amazing, you may remember me visiting for dinner back in the summer and raving about the delicious flavours. Unsurprisingly brunch was no different; the salmon in particular was so good, really fresh and full of flavour.
Lottie opted for a dish from the regular breakfast menu, she’s such a picky eater having a croissant, yogurt and fruit was an ideal meal for little ones.
Special midweek days out with my little Lottie are numbered as she’s starting school in September, I will miss them so much but until then we have a few more weeks to squeeze in brunches and play dates.
Coté Brasserie is the perfect setting for a Mother’s Day celebration make sure you get down there to try out the Champagne Brunch menu this weekend and have a wonderful Mother’s Day.
We were invited to try out the menu ahead of Mother’s Day for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and opinions are my own. You can check out the full menu and details here.
