The Cosiest Slippers Ever

When the days are grey and short my goal is to be as cosy and comfortable in doors as possible. I like to surround myself in fluffy cushions, thick knitted blankets and hide from the cold. Throw in some popcorn and a film with my babies and it really is my happy place.

When Celtic & Co. asked me if I would like to try a pair of their women’s sheepskin boots it sounded like a match made in cosy heaven!

Celtic & Co. are passionate about the craft of hand-making boots, slippers and flip-flops. As a proudly British Company based in Nequay all the sheepskin used in the footwear come from British sheep. The UK farming industry operates under the highest regulations for animal welfare which for me is so important when it comes to buying products that involve animals. I like to know exactly where they have come from.

I opted for slippers because this is me I live for comfort. On arrival I couldn’t wait to slip my feet into them, no more cold toes on the hard wood floor in the mornings for me!

I love them not only do they look great you can tell from first touch just how much care and attention has gone into creating these. I am usually the type to get through a pair or two of slippers a year but with double-stitched seams and durable soles these are made to last.

I also love that they are machine washable! I am guilty of running to the bin outside or nipping to get something I have forgotten from the car with my slippers still on so it’s great peace of mind knowing they can go in the machine.

I absolutely love them! They are so comfortable, so thick and warm – just the perfect winter slipper. At £87 they are on the pricier side of slippers but you are getting every pennies worth because they are just such made to such a high standard with only the best quality British materials.

If like me you’re feeling that cold and just want to cosy up this winter they are the perfect item for you. With Mother’s Day just a round the corner I couldn’t think of a nicer gift for mothers, we’re usually the first up and last to bed lets give our feet a treat!
