What a fun filled month it’s been for my girls, with half term, halloween, a trip to cornwall and lots of enjoying the Autumn sunshine (which has now disappeared damn it).
I adore this photo I took of them in the park, the colours, the light, the swans it’s just a little bit lovely.
I am beginning to realise a pattern in every photo I take of my three though Lottie is never looking at the camera – Ever. I quite like it though it shows her curious little nature always looking at what she can go and explore next.
These photos are up there with some of my favourite ever. It was staff training day, the sun was shining so we just headed out and ended up at the park in amongst the fallen leaves. It is the simple days, the nothing planned days that we always seem to have the most fun.
This month for my big girls saw their first parents evening of the year. I am so chuffed with how the pair of them are getting on at school and to hear just how well my Bella is settling in. She’s really shocked me going from the shy girl who didn’t speak for the first few months at preschool to becoming the confident school girl who everybody wants as there friend. They make me so proud.
It’s also been a big month for Lottie who has ditched the nappies what felt like over night, she literally just told me she didn’t want to wear them any more and hasn’t since. at 2 and a half I don’t think I was quite ready to accept she is no longer a baby but when they’re ready they’re ready I guess!
I love seeing there relationship as siblings develop over the months, I love hearing and watching them play and laugh together. There is no longer the age divide that saw Maisy and Bella play together when Lottie just didn’t understand what was going on, she has well and truly caught up to them and is now one of the gang and very often the leader!
Awh i loved reading this! I have two girls ten months apart and can’t wait for the day they sit and play together. Wonderful post and beautiful pictures x

What beautiful autumnal colours. I had hoped to take some glorious autumnal shots myself but for one reason or another it didn’t quite happen. You nailed this one!
