A Bernard Matthews Deep South Challenge

A Bernard Matthews Deep South Challenge

I have been asked to join the Bernard Mathews parenting panel, which means each month I will be set a fun challenge to then share with you guys! If you have read everything mummy for a while you’ll know I am a bit of a foodie. I love cooking food and I love trying new foods, I love going out for food, I just love food – so this is one challenge I would never be turning down.

This month’s challenge was to celebrate the launch of Bernard Matthews’ all new American style, Buttermilk coated turkey fillet cuts. As you can see Bernard Matthews has undergone a big rebrand I almost didn’t recognise them but it looks great don’t you think?

So looking for a American style dish for my self and the girls there was only one thing that came to mind – Turkey burgers they love a burger across the pond and so do I!

Cooking the turkey fillets from fresh only takes about 20-25 minutes so it is a super quick dinner option for busy mums that is sure to be a big hit with the kids.

They’re made from 100% British meat and are so so delicious, I was really impressed by the size of the fillets I cooked 4 and it was more than enough for me and my three little ladies. As you can see they’re so thick and juicy a perfect turkey burger.

Topped with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber and sauce the turkey burgers were complete and we couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

I have been so impressed with the quality from Bernard Matthews, up until now I have tended to save turkey for christmas only but they’re making turkey tasty again and I am sure we will be having these again and again.
