With the summer well and truly behind us it’s the perfect time to look back over the memories we have made. How do you like to store yours? Maybe a blog like me or maybe your a real crafty type who like scrapbooking. I have to say I love the idea of a scrapbook – I love looking back through old photo albums but in recent years I find myself printing of less and less photos. Scrapbooking is a way to let your creativity shine through and make yourself something really beautiful to keep forever.
Stampin’ Up! have shared with me a great ‘how to’ for creating a summer scrapbook which makes it look so simple, I wanted to share it with you guys and give you the chance to win some goodies from them as well!

Step One:
Stamp the following onto the A4 white card:
- 3 x Flower Cluster using Stazon Black ink pad
- S U M M E R letters using Pink, Taupe and Mint
- 3 x Dragonflies; 2 in Pink, 1 in Taupe
- Hessian image in pink
- Date Banner in Taupe
Step Two:
Cut out the SUMMER letters using the Tags and Labels framelits and mount these onto cardstock of the same colour. Then cut out all of the other stamped images leaving a small white border all round. Then layer date banner onto the centre of one of the flower clusters.
Step Three:
Add the layered SUMMER word down the right hand side of the page. Then layer all photo mats onto the Mint cardstock square and position slightly to left. Cut tails into the three small banner pieces and add to the bottom right of the layered square.
Step Four:
Colour the wooden Celebrate word element using the Taupe marker pen and adhere this to the top of page using glue dots.
Step Five:
Adhere the date banner flower cluster to the centre of the photo mat square and the other two clusters to the top and bottom left hand corners.
Step Six
Randomly place the three cut out dragonflies over the photo mats. Add pearls to some of the flowers in the clusters to finish.

article⦠but what can I say⦠I put things off a whole lot and never seem
to get nearly anything done.
