Half term has started Maisy and Bella had their last day at nursery today and now have 10 days off! They were both a little sad to not be going in next week so this afternoon we made a half term list of all the fun things they’d like to do next week.
Here’s what they came up with:
-
Carve a pumpkin – I have never had a go as anything more adventurous than the a face so this time we’re going to go for it watch this space!
-
Make Halloween cakes – there is a slight halloween theme going on in this list but its the first year they really understand so were going to make some spoooooooky cakes!
-
Soft play – the thought of soft play in the holidays brings me out in a cold sweat but at the girls request we will go, I’ll be in the corner hiding from sugar crazed toddlers.
-
Decorate some Halloween biscuits – we have orange and green icing pens and we are not afraid to use them.
-
See Leah and Taylor – Maisy and Bella’s best non nursery friends, we’ve had a special request to make sure we see them this holidays!
-
Make playdoh – With our recent last minute move we binned all ours and the kids have missed it so we are going to make some extra special glittery scented playdoh.
-
Go bowling – hopefully daddy’s going to get a morning off one day so we plan to head off for some bowling!
- Have a film and popcorn evening – probably frozen again.
- Trick or treating – 31st of October means one thing trick or treating (please don’t rain!)
What are you up to this half term any fun plans!?
Carving a pumpkin is on my list this week too, I love getting into the halloween spirit!

What great activities to really get into the autumn spirit, I’d love to be spending the week carving pumpkins and making Halloween cakes x
Oh lots of fun activities. I still need to carve Baby’s pumpkin, but I did get her a cute dressing up outfit today. Thanks for linking up to #TheList x
