Tissue paper stained glass windows

Yesterday was just one of those days the kids were up at 5, yes 5am! so I woke up in a grump, by about 7 they realised it wasn’t the bet idea they’ve ever had and were knackered (very grumpy household). After and hour or two of them whining and fighting over just about everything and anything they could, I needed to think of something quick and easy to entertain them while I sorted Lottie out. Preferably something that didn’t involve too much mess Arts and crafts can often bring me out in a cold sweat but I’d seen this on pinterest and thought we could give it a whirl.

All you need is;

Tissue paper cut or ripped up into small pieces
Pot of water
Paint brush

And that is it (oh and a window). The girls really enjoyed it kept them busy and stopped the bickering yay! its something so simple that takes minuets to set up and other than a bit of water here and there makes no mess as it all just wipes off the window easily. if like me the thought of letting children paint in the house brings you out in a cold sweat this is great.

Maisy’s Window

It looked so pretty I didn’t want to take it off!
What are your quick go to activities for the kids?
