A Stay At Ladram Bay

Ladram Bay Holiday Park in Devon

We arrived at Ladram Bay late Friday evening after a fun filled day at Crealy Adventure Park. Everyone was knackered after such a busy day so we were ready for a fish and chips dinner followed by an early night. We had a good look through all the brochures and leaflets to make sure the following day was as jam packed as possible.

Our next day started bright and early (as always when my children are involved); it was a gorgeous day so we couldn’t wait to get out and explore all that Ladram Bay had to offer.
The top of the kids to do list was swimming! I couldn’t take any photo’s in the pool area which I fully expected but believe me it was brilliant. The children’s pool was so perfect for the little ones, it was full of sprinklers, fountains and lots to keep them entertained. It was also really warm so even us adults didn’t feel the cold in such a shallow pool.
Maisy and Bella were in and out of the big pool with me and Scott taking in turns to splash about with them in there we all had a great time.

After swimming we headed back to our caravan for a quick lunch before checking out the park and indoor play area. The indoor play area had a small soft play and lots of amusement type games for the kids to have a go on. We also had ago at a rock climbing session which we all really enjoyed! I was so impressed to see my little spider girl scaling the walls.

Soon enough it was time to head back and get ready for dinner. That evening we ate at Pebbles – the onsite restaurant, we were all really impressed with the food. The menu catered to all and after a busy day we wasted no time in scoffing our way through our dinners.

Really good sized portions are what I like to see! My one criticism would be there was no colouring or anything for the children and as a holiday park aimed at families I would have expected something to keep them busy but other than that it was spot on. Would highly recommend gracing a bite to eat in there.

After dinner we headed down to the evening entertainment, it was the kind of classic holiday park set up bit – a little bit for the kids, bingo, followed by entertainment more aimed at adults live music etc. The entertainment team did a great job; the girls got involved and had fun then we even won a few quid on the bingo!

All in all a really fab little day for us. There is so much to get stuck in with at Ladram Bay even their very own little beach that you can take a short walk down to. We didn’t make it down on the Saturday as planned but we did make sure we got down there before heading home one the Sunday.

Huge thanks to Ladram Bay for having us and to the team for taking such great care of us during our stay. Check out the video of our day exploring Ladram Bay to see some more.
