Crealy Adventure Park

Yet another busy weekend has been and gone for us and I once again spent the last two days up to my eye balls in washing trying to discover where the missing hair brushes are! Yes we went away for two nights and all order in my household fell apart immediately.

It was so worth it though. Our weekend away in Devon started on an adrenaline filled high at Crealy Adventure Park. We all had a fab afternoon going from ride to ride.

It was such a nice quiet day in the park, we didn’t have to queue for a ride for more than a few minutes. When you’ve got three little ones in tow queuing really isn’t ideal so it was perfect.

Lottie was slightly under the height restriction for quite a few of the rides; bless her she is quite short for her age. As you can imagine her eagerness to join in with the girls getting shot down didn’t sit to well with her. She still had a fab day though, we made sure she had lots of turns on the ones she was big enough for.

My only negative factor for the day was that we did no allow ourselves enough time, my own fault for not checking the opening hours before we left home. We arrived at around lunch time and the park closed at 5pm, I had just assumed with the summer setting in it would be open late. From looking online even in the school holidays the latest it is open is 5:30. Which is fine it just takes better planning; we had a good 4/5 hours of fun but with so much to do we could have easily spent another hour there.

Crealy Adventure Park is great fun, with tons to do. I would recommend it as a fantastic family day out for anyone near or holidaying in Devon.

This looks like an amazing day out. We almost made this mistake with Peppa Pig world as that closed at 5pm too so we made sure we go there super early to make the most of it. That is probably the only time we have actually got anywhere before lunch time though haha ox

I’ve been there when I was a teenager but not since and I’ve not taken the kids. Might have to make the trip as it looks like a fun day out! x

Ah poor little one – I know how it feels to not be tall enough. I used to not be able to go on rides that my younger sister could because I wasn’t tall enough: I was not happy! Looks like a lovely place to visit 🙂

This looks like so much fun! I’m pretty sure I may have been here when I was younger, as we used to holiday in Devon a lot. Feel a trip coming on next summer….

I haven’t heard of this of this place it looks like you actually had so much fun. I know what you mean about some of these places closing really early if anything it is just a sign that you are going to need to go back to where you had been again.
