A weekend away at Furrow Fields Lodge

Last weekend the girls and I were invited by Blue Chip Holidays to stay at the beautiful Furrow Fields Lodge in Bradford Abbas – Dorset. To say I was excited is a slight under statement I was massively in need of a little break and change of scenery, I took my friend Bianca along with us for an extra pair of hands with the girls. We arrived just before 5 after getting a little lost on the way turns out sat nav’s aren’t great! We called the number provided and a very helpful lady on the other end gave us…

Tiny Tears 50 Year Anniversary Doll

We were recently sent the new limited edition doll from Tiny Tears to celebrate 50 years since the launch of first iconic Tiny Tears doll. These beautiful dolls have been loved by children for generations in fact I used to have one of my own, the girls loved talking about me being a little girl and playing dollies like they do. The limited edition Tiny Tears doll is beautiful as you can see I love the pretty pink sparkly dress. Just like the traditional doll you can feed her water from her bottle and then put her on the potty to wet,…

Enjoying the last of the summer sun

Just when I thought summer was over and done with, it seems to have returned this weekend and we have had two beautiful sunny days. I was determined to make the most of them after the rubbish summer we have had this year – and living in Dorset where else would you want to spend a sunny weekend than at the beach. Get ready for a picture heavy post of my day which will leave you dreaming of cruises and probably just a little bit hungry as well! This was my first time on a cruise ship and I…

Trespass coats – review

As per usual kids go back to school and out comes the sun typical isn’t it, the holiday’s haven’t been great in fact they were pretty dreadful. Thankfully the rain didn’t stop up getting out everyday I had some new rain coats sent over from trespass so it was actually perfect to get out in the wet weather to give them a try! As you will see the photo’s used were not taken on one of those days it was pouring with rain, despite my best efforts children are reluctant to stand about being photographed in that kind of weather.…
