Bike Riding At Hengistbury Head

We have been blessed with some absolutely gorgeous weather recently – hope it sticks around for half term! With both our eldest’s busy at school Claire from The Witt Family and I took the girls off for a little bike ride and picnic last week at Hengistbury Head, a real beauty spot in Dorset made even more beautiful when the sun is shining. As per usual I took a bunch of photos and want to share some of my faves! Bella was spiderman’d up to the max as always. The girls loved it the trail from the car park to…

Our first paddle of the year

I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country, I really don’t think I would ever be able to move away. I love the slow relaxed pace of Dorset, all the amazing things there are for children and the picture perfect spots we have for days out and fun in the sun. Fireworks & Fun At The Thistle Hotel

Last week I was invited to stay at the Thistle Hotel in Poole for a fun bloggers event celebrating bonfire night and enjoying lots of delicious food. Calling it a lodge doesn’t really do it justice, if I am honest it was a little house really – full central heating the lot.  Saturday morning arrived and Maisy, my little early riser thought 4:40am was the best time to get up. I disagreed but the excitement was too much for her so it was a very early start for us. Luckily we had the great selection of toys and…

A weekend away at Furrow Fields Lodge

Last weekend the girls and I were invited by Blue Chip Holidays to stay at the beautiful Furrow Fields Lodge in Bradford Abbas – Dorset. To say I was excited is a slight under statement I was massively in need of a little break and change of scenery, I took my friend Bianca along with us for an extra pair of hands with the girls. We arrived just before 5 after getting a little lost on the way turns out sat nav’s aren’t great! We called the number provided and a very helpful lady on the other end gave us…
