Baby George Review

This last week we have had a new addition to the family, no I haven’t been keeping a big secret I’m talking about the arrival of baby George – the baby brother of Baby Annabell from Zapf Creations!  Baby George is just like having a real baby in the house he gurgles, babbles, giggles, burps cries when he’s woken up, yawns when he tired unlike real babies though he is easily consoled with a pat on the back or a little cuddle – all else failing theres the off switch (evil mummy muhahah)Baby George will drink water and cry real tears and his little mouth even moves…

Novembers Favourites

I can’t believe its December this month has absolutely flown by. A few weeks ago I was feeling very smug and organised having made a start on my christmas shopping now I’m feeling very unorganised as the small start we made is literally all I’ve done. The plan is to get Maisy’s party out of the way this weekend and then try and get christmas sorted! Any way today I’m sharing my favourite bits from November! I vowed to do this every month but last month was just so mad busy I never got a chance. So first up for…

Breast feeding – when’s the right time to stop?

I’m really proud of myself for how long I have managed to feed Lottie, I didn’t manage to get anywhere near as far with Maisy and Bella but this time I was very determined and it just worked – I love feeling so close and connected with her. That doesn’t mean at times in the early days I didn’t struggle there were moments I couldn’t see us making it to 9 days let alone 9 months! I found breast feeding support groups a god send and thank god for google helping me to find the answers to every little question I had.  (Tip for any new…

5 must have baby products for you

Over the years I have discovered some baby products are actually great used as beauty products for me! With three young girls I seem to have these items in abundance so it also saves a few pennies so I thought I’d share my 5 favourites with you! Muslin cloths: Not only to be used for moping up babes puke but great for taking your make up off (obviously I’d recommend a clean one), use with regular cleanser works really well as their nice and big and also a little bit rough so our gently exfoliating and reusable. Sudacrem: If I have a…

Weaning survival guide

Baby turns six months and all of a sudden your bombarded with emails, samples, charts and information packs giving you step by step guides to weaning your baby on to solids. Easy – except what they don’t mention is babies are all different and what works for one may not work for another.Weaning Lottie has not been straight forward, for at least the first month she was completely uninterested, she pursed her lips and refused to even try. Now and 8 months we have finally got to the stage where she is showing interest she wants to try different things,…

Crawling Babies

The time has come, that time I dreaded; Baby Lottie is crawling!  Its now 3 against one in this house and I really don’t stand a chance she isn’t doing the traditional form of crawling (you know on her knees) she just drags her self along the floor in a commando sort of way but it gets her from A to B and means she can cause a lot of trouble.  Now nothing is safe and she no longer stay still for for than a minute or 2. This is where I found her earlier playing with a potty. (Before the bad mummy brigade come at me…
