Finding the right holiday for you

I love traveling, visiting new countries, exploring the cities and getting a feel for their culture is incredible. I want my daughters to experience regular travel whether that’s in the UK or abroad, I think it’s amazing for children to experience and they learn so much with every trip we take.

Everybody’s needs are so different when it comes too booking a holiday. For example, if you are traveling with children you want to look for locations that aren’t too far to fly to and have plenty of entertainment. Where as if you are off on a pre-baby trip you may want to look at using Loveholidays Babymoon Finder to find something relaxing that may be adults only.

This post is to help you with what you need to consider before traveling and some tips around how to get the best deal possible.

First things first, you need to ask your self a couple of questions;

What sort of trip do you want?

Are you looking for a week in the sun, a city break taking in the sights or maybe an action packed adventure holiday?

Next, how long do you want to go for?

Take into account travel time, depending on where you live, certain destinations will make more sense than others.

How do you want to travel?

It’s not always a case of jump on a plane, could you drive? Could you cruise or ferry?

And, what is your budget?

Work to a realistic budget that will allow you to decide what kind of hotel you can stay in, how long you can go for and what time of year will best suit your budget.

It’s good to start with an open mind as far as location and dates go if you can. If you can be flexible with these you can get yourself a real bargain.

Once you know what you want you want and how much you can spend you can begin your research. Travel agents are amazing but the internet is the place to go if you want to find real honest reviews from first hand experiences. There are so many amazing travel blogs to be found with great recommendations of places to stay and attractions that are worth visiting. This should help to narrow down where you want to visit, pinterest is fantastic for travel content so get pinning and you will soon find your perfect destination!

I hope this post is helpful for when it comes to choosing your next trip!
