Is it me or did I just blink and it is February already?
What a busy time it has been as usual for the girls and I. After what felt like the longest term at school we are currently off on a much needed half term break wooohoo!!!
The last week of term is always the toughest I really notice just how shattered they are and in need of some lazy days at home.
It was a week or so ago I took these photos as we took a walk around Upton Country Park (shocking – I know we go there all the time). I love these pictures, the sun was shining down beautifully for what felt like the first time in ages.
They needed it, I needed it. As much as big, extravagant days out are fun these girls of mine are so happy walking around, chasing each other and collecting pockets full of stones. This photo of Maisy just sums it up really – FREEDOM!!
Maisy lost another 2 teeth in February so is currently sporting a very large but rather cute gap, the tooth fairy had a busy couple of weeks. Maisy’s been learning all about space at school this month so at home she has been making space rockets out of just about anything and telling her sisters all about the planets in our Solar System. She is such a little sponge always keen to learn and absorb everything going on around her.
I am finally giving in to the fact that my little baby Lottie is not so much of a little baby any more, she will be turning 3 in just two days time. The gap between her and her sisters seems to be getting smaller by the day. She’s no longer baby sister, she can well and truly hold her own. Catching those glimpses of them all playing together makes me the happiest mummy ever.
Cheeky Bella, just as mischievous as ever. Since my last update Bella turned 5, we had such a lovely few days celebrating her birthday! She really did drag it out with a family party at home, a bowling night out with pizza and a hella lot of birthday cake.
Bella’s current favourite pass time is attempting hand stands which involves many sprints across the lounge by me to catch my little dare devil.
