The End Of Party Season

The End Of Party Season

Party season is officially over for another year in this household. December – February is always a mad couple of months for me with all three princesses birthday’s and christmas thrown in for good measure. Throwing kids parties is stressful, there is so much to do and it costs a bloody fortune but I have made it out the other side. Yes skint but still semi-sane. Each year I say I won’t do parties again and each year I do so I’m not even guna bother saying it, my girls do love a party and I must admit when it all finally comes together I love it too.

I have a ton of photos that I am yet to share and wanted to put them somewhere so here’s a few snaps from Maisy’s disco/rave – no seriously there was a foam party going on and all sorts. Plus some more from Bella and Lottie’s joint bouncy castle party we had this weekend!

We used Get up and groove for the disco, they were great kept the kids entertained for a full 2 hours, I really didn’t have to do anything – they set it all up put it all away and even included the prizes for the kids. Disco lighting doesn’t make for the best photo’s but I still wanted to share them as it was a great day and Maisy loved her party.

Happy little girl at her party.

party 8

Beautiful cake fit for a princess made by the very talented Time For Tiffin it weighed a ton!

On to party number 2.. Bella and Lottie’s birthday’s are a little over 2 weeks apart so it made sense to have a joint party in between both dates.

Party 1

Lottie’s going through a I don’t want my hair tied up phase.

Bella hasn’t always been the most confident child but has really come out of her self in nursery recently so it was great to have some of her little friends come along too. It was also a great chance for me to meet some of the other parents.

party 14

The fun run assault corse with slide was a massive hit with all the kids, yes I even went down it a few times as well. We used Get up and bounce ran by the same guys as the disco company, they have a huge range of castles and party packages available.

The cake! I didn’t want to get two made so came up with the idea of this split cake for them both, Spiderman for Bella (obvs) and Peppa for Lottie. I love how it turned out this was made from the lovely Lou Lou’s Cakes.

Phew, safe to say I am all partied out!

That was a busy couple of months, we are like that between May and June we have 3 birthdays in the family and then we always have a bank holiday BBQ too!!

It can be stressful alright. Lucky me I have one child’s birthday in February and one in August.
