Do your children like to jump on your bed?
Pretty standard for toddler’s isn’t it and while they may be having a wail of a time your bed might feel the strain – last week mine gave up and when Bella jumped in it completely collapsed – did I mention it was also 1am and I was half asleep in it? Fun times.
So until I can order a new one in a couple of weeks I have been thinking about my dream bed I’m talking those real pinterest worthy beds with a zillion scatter cushions on that serve no purpose at all – oh I love a scatter cushion!
So my dream bed would be a king sized giving me plenty of room to not be kicked out when they tots invade in the middle of the night which they tend to do and I end up hanging on to the edge for dear life.
A good strong frame. For reasons stated above it needs to be really strong and storage is always a big plus, so much rubbish is shoved under my bed I would like to have it all sorted into drawers nice and neatly.
The most important part – the mattress I have made the mistake in the past of going for the standard mattress that is supplied with a bed never again. I need one that is just right for me, not to squishy but not too firm and that is where the Bruno mattress comes in. With a 7 zone foam core that adjust’s itself you your body to create the desired firmness level giving the ultimate support and a great night sleep, I feel comfy and relaxed just thinking about it.
On top of the bed I need a big fluffy duvet I real wintery one that will keep me snug, I always go for a size bigger than my actual bed as well so that there is no duvet stealing going on Lottie always hogs it the little swine.
Pillows – I go through phases with pillows some nights I’ll be surrounded by them and other times I prefer none at all and they’ll all end up on the floor. I prefer feather as they just seem to last a lot longer.
All to be finished with a good 5-6 scatter cushions and a quilted throw should I get cold surrounded by a ton of pillows and a huge duvet – I hate being cold did you notice?
What would make up your dream bed?
