It’s been a funny couple of day’s for me Maisy started school last week and this week she has been in for 2 full days it’s odd to think this is how it will be from now on I’m missing her much more than I thought I would. With Bella also being at nursery today it’s been strangely quiet in the house just me and Lottie left to entertain ourselves. It’s been a while since we have had some quality time just the two of us so it was lovely to be able to give her my undivided attention for a change.
Lottie’s not been feeling great the last few days full of cold and waking up a fair bit at night so we opted for a long nap in the morning, we then spent the afternoon playing with toys I was surprised to see just how much her imagination has developed in the past few weeks, I tend to see her just going along with the girls games but today I saw her really thinking and coming up with her own little games it was so sweet.
We also did bit of crafting trying out one of the packs from our recent Baker Ross delivery we made rugby style coasters for everyone, Lottie was great at matching up the correct foam stickers to create the pattern.
Lottie really perked up as the day went on so we headed down to a little park near us – I was feeling brave and ditched the pushchair so obviously I ended up carrying her the whole way there and back again. Still the park was pretty empty so Lottie did what she likes to do in parks and that is just toddle around the place and pick things up off the floor – each to their own.
She also found the one and only puddle left in the park and promptly sat in it which told me it was time to head back just in time for the big girls to get home and tell us all about their day.
I miss my big girls when they are at nursery and school but it is lovely to spend some quality time with my little Lottie from now on we will have two days a week just us two together and I am really looking forward to it.
Aww it’s so lovely that you got some quality time together, even if you do miss the other girls too. One to one time is so special if it’s rare. I love the look of those Baker Ross things. They look great for matching and sorting. We’re teaching Evie this at the moment. They look brilliant. x

I know how you feel about the big one at school and being left on your own with the little one. It’s exactly the same for me too. It’s lovely to have one on one time with them, isn’t it. I hope she’s settled in well at school and is enjoying it. The rugby coasters look fab. Thank so mcin for linking up with #thisweekiveloved

My son is the same as your Lottie in parks – toddles around and picks up stones! I bet she loved having mummy all to herself!
