Me and the girls were recently invited down to Completely Potty to take part in a workshop making some clay bat hangers, it was halloween so this fit perfectly for us to try something a bit different and get us in the halloween spirit!

Maisy loved making her bat |
The girls really enjoyed creating their master pieces, the lady who showed them what to do was really good and got them engaged with it. It was a small group so she was able to be hands with all of children taking part and help them on certain bits. once they’d finished creating and adding all the detail they chose their favourite colours and painted them ready to then go in the kiln.
We had to wait a few days until they were ready to go back and pick up the finished product the girls are chuffed to bits with them, so proud telling everyone who will listen!

It was a really fun session the kids have not made anything like this before and both got stuck in and had a great time. I loved the studio really cosy family feel to it – we will definitely be going back to try the christmas work shop!

Ah, you’re in Bournemouth? Just down the road! We have a place a bit like this but I’ve not been in for years… perhaps I should take S there some time.

I adore the photo of Maisy with her bat, she is so chuffed with herself. Very cute indeed. We have a place like this just near us and we love going. #sundaystars
Very clever. I’m impressed and Maisy looked like she had such fun! Thanks for sharing on #sundaystars
