One of the great things about toddlers is they’re usually pretty naive, I usually use this to my full advantage when I want to get to the bottom of a situation – picture the scene I walk into the bathroom the loo roll is completely unrolled and shoved in the toilet while both taps are still running – yay.
“Girl’s! Whats happened in here!”
Now up until recently if I ask this question I usually get a quite honest answer, they’ll gladly admit what they have done, not quite grasping the art of telling fibs or bending the truth as I like to call it.
However now they now seem to get it and the answer I get is “It wasn’t me” or “she did it” whilst pointing at a poor unsuspecting Lottie, who will probably just sit with a massive grin not realising she’s just been used a scape goat by her big sister yet again.
They seem to have closed ranks and are now using the fact they outnumber me to their full advantage, pair of smart arses!
It has also rather scarily given me a glimpse into the future and just what it will be like when they are teenagers and worse all three of them will be up to it by then – I don’t stand a chance.
What’s worse as my dad will often take great pleasure in reminding me this is exactly what I was like as a child and now am getting my pay back!

Ahhh this is what my mother always says to me that it’s pay back. Although my two are still at the age that they will admit it gladly still that they have done it and it was hilarious. lol That photo is hilarious of your little one in the cupboard.
