National Trust Adventures – Hinton Ampner

I officially became a national trust member a few weeks ago; something I never thought I would be. This year the girls and I have found ourselves out and about enjoying ¬†walking, exploring and picnics a hell of a lot more it just made sense to get a national trust membership. There are so many great places nearby to us which we were going to and paying for regularly, having the membership just gives us the freedom to pop to the ones locally when ever we fancy but it’s also made me think about setting our sights a little further…

Avon Heath Country Park

Yesterday we went to Avon heath country park for a picnic and some fresh air. I haven’t been here since I was tiny, I vaguely remember coming on Sunday afternoon’s for a little play, I have photos of me somewhere about 4 years old with blonde pigtails climbing up the play equipment. Sunday Walks – My captured moment #3

We’ve had a cold wet week down in Poole this last week, so come sunday it was still cold – bloody freezing in fact but dry so we pulled on our wellies and took a walk over to Upton country park.  I love being able to get out in the fresh air and let the girls run free, no worries about busy roads just lots of puddles to jump in and sticks to find two of their most favourite things!!
