Andrewshayes Holiday Park; a half term Devon break

I left off in my last post in a packed car, singing to Moana as we headed from Cornwall to Devon for part two of our half term break. We arrived at Andrewshayes Holiday Park at about 8pm, all pretty exhausted from a busy day we wasted no time in unpacking our bits and getting a good night sleep. First impressions were great the caravan was immaculate, well equipped and had loads of storage. I was so excited to see we had been upgraded from a luxury 3 bed to a luxury 3 bed WITH HOT TUB! Well it took…

Rumsdale Cottage; a half term Cornish break

As you may have spotted on my social media a few weeks ago the girls, Scott and I headed west for a few days in the cornish countryside. I love Cornwall, it’s one of those places that brings back so many fond childhood memories for me. I spent many summers visiting my grandparents in Cornwall, it’s a place I want my children to experience as I did. We were invited down to Rumsdale Cottage by Cornish Traditional Cottages for a few days of family fun. Half term was so welcome; as much as I love having a routine the school…

Muddy Madness at the Bear Trail

Following on from yesterdays fun day exploring all that Ladram bay had to offer, we set off early in search of new (slightly messier) adventure. We were invited down to The Bear Trail to get stuck in to their muddy obstacle corse. The Bear Trail is designed to bring back to old fashioned types of play that children love, they want to see families out their working together, having a laugh and all embracing the muddy fun! That is exactly what we did. The obstacles varied in difficulty, there were a couple Lottie couldn’t really do but on the whole…

Last week my friend Bianca and I headed up to Watford to do just that. After saying we wanted to do it for sooo long and booking these tickets months ago we were like two small children at christmas. The tour started with watching a sort of intro hosted by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. It really showed just how passionate they are about the film’s and some amazing facts about…

A Little Stay At The Christchurch Harbour Hotel

Last week I swept my boy off to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel as a little birthday treat! A completely selfless act as of corse spending the day in a spa doesn’t appeal to me at all (cough cough). As much as I was sweeping him off I was so excited to have a little break myself. Off we set for Christchurch; It’s only a 40 minute drive for us so we arrived pretty early. Our room wasn’t quite ready to check into but I had assumed this would be the case so we headed into the Upper Deck restaurant for a…
