The View from The Shard, Borough Market & Chestertons Polo in the Park!

Last Friday my day started ridiculously early but all for good reason, I packed my little babes off to school and nursery and hopped on the train to London. It feels like forever ago since I was last in town for an event it was well over due. Scott and I were heading to The Shard to hear all about Chestertons Polo in the Park, the annual polo competition held at Hurlingham park in Fulham on the 9,10 & 11th June. A Day Out With Thomas

As you guys know the girls and I love getting out and about, trying new things and seeing new places. A few weeks ago we were very kindly invited to go for a day out with Thomas on the Watercress line. For a few weeks of the year Thomas and Friends take over the Watercress line and the whole station transforms into an amazing family day out. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this day out but when we arrived I was so impressed to see all they had going on, the whole station was involved and the kids…

Pebbles Beaches & Bicton Botanical Gardens

Day 2 of our stay at Andrewshayes holiday park and my boy had to leave early to head back to work (boooooo!!!!) The girls are used to the golden sands of our Poole beaches so they…

We arrived at Andrewshayes Holiday Park at about 8pm, all pretty exhausted from a busy day we wasted no time in unpacking our bits and getting a good night sleep. First impressions were great the caravan was immaculate, well equipped and had loads of storage. I was so excited to see we had been upgraded from a luxury 3 bed to a luxury 3 bed WITH HOT TUB! Well it took…

Rumsdale Cottage; a half term Cornish break

As you may have spotted on my social media a few weeks ago the girls, Scott and I headed west for a few days in the cornish countryside. I love Cornwall, it’s one of those places that brings back so many fond childhood memories for me. I spent many summers visiting my grandparents in Cornwall, it’s a place I want my children to experience as I did. We were invited down to Rumsdale Cottage by Cornish Traditional Cottages for a few days of family fun. Half term was so welcome; as much as I love having a routine the school…
