National Trust Adventures – Kingston Lacy

Kingston Lacy is definitely my most local National Trust spot. Being less than a half hour drive we do visit regularly, it’s such a great picnic spot and so beautiful all year round. The weekend just gone started out cloudy but warm so we packed up a picnic and headed on down for some fresh air and flower spotting. It went from being a warmish cloudy day to a baking hot day so quickly! What’s nice about Kingston Lacy is there is so much outdoor space but also so many shady spots too. The front lawn is perfect for picnics…

National Unplugging Day

Last Sunday (25th June) was national unplugging day; the annual day designed to get us all to take a step away from the technology and spend some quality time together. Week Day Walks

Thursday is always a Mummy and Lottie day in our household; with the girls both busy at school I try to make sure we get outside and do something fun together. We had a good look through all the brochures and leaflets to make sure the following day was as jam packed as possible. Our next day started bright and early (as always when my children are involved); it was a gorgeous day so we couldn’t wait to get out and explore all that Ladram Bay had to offer. The top of the kids…

Crealy Adventure Park

Yet another busy weekend has been and gone for us and I once again spent the last two days up to my eye balls in washing trying to discover where the missing hair brushes are! Yes we went away for two nights and all order in my household fell apart immediately. It was so worth it though. Our weekend away in Devon started on an adrenaline filled high at Crealy Adventure Park. We all had a fab afternoon going from ride to ride. It was such a nice quiet day in the park, we didn’t have to queue for a ride…
